1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RustWho website, dashboard, browser extension, APIs, alerts, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, clicking to register, subscribing, purchasing paid access, or otherwise indicating assent electronically, you agree to these Terms and the RustWho Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party to these Terms.

2. About RustWho

RustWho is an independent analytics and OSINT service focused on the Rust gaming ecosystem. The Service may collect, organize, index, summarize, compare, enrich, and display information obtained from one or more of the following:

  • user-submitted data;
  • public websites, public search results, and publicly available sources;
  • publicly available endpoints or pages;
  • third-party partners or communities;
  • data RustWho reasonably believed was publicly available at the time of collection; and
  • internally derived analytics, correlations, scoring signals, and classifications.

RustWho is not an official source operator unless expressly stated in writing. RustWho may place some features behind account registration or paid access, but subscriber-only visibility does not by itself change the nature or provenance of the underlying source material.

RustWho may aggregate, organize, and present information from multiple sources for indexing, research, and analytics purposes.

RustWho does not issue bans, determine cheating, or make moderation decisions. RustWho only displays records originating from third-party sources for informational and research purposes.

3. No Official Affiliation

RustWho is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of Facepunch Studios, BattleMetrics, Valve, any server owner, any community, or any other third party referenced through the Service, unless RustWho expressly states otherwise in writing.

Third-party names, identifiers, trademarks, or references are used for identification, commentary, indexing, compatibility, interoperability, descriptive reference, or analytics purposes only.

4. Informational and Historical Nature of the Service

The Service is provided for informational, research, moderation-support, analytics, fraud-review, and community-intelligence purposes. Unless RustWho expressly states otherwise, information displayed through the Service may be historical, incomplete, delayed, disputed, changed by the original source after collection, or not reflective of current status.

Ban-related, report-related, risk-related, association-related, or event-related entries should not automatically be treated as an official live current-status feed unless RustWho expressly identifies them as such.

RustWho does not guarantee that any player, profile, identifier, or server reflected in a historical entry is currently banned, currently flagged, currently active, currently linked, or currently in the same state shown by the historical record.

5. Accuracy, Analytics, and Source Disclaimer

RustWho does not author third-party bans, third-party accusations, third-party moderation decisions, or third-party enforcement history unless expressly stated. RustWho does not warrant that third-party or public-source data is accurate, complete, current, official, or free from error.

Data shown by the Service may contain mistakes, outdated records, duplicates, source errors, changed statuses, classification errors, or incomplete context. Analytics, scores, correlations, or classifications shown by the Service may reflect model assumptions or limited inputs and are not guarantees or definitive factual determinations.

Where a current official status is not directly available from an authorized first-party source, the Service may display historical records only.

Third-party moderation decisions remain the responsibility of the originating server or community.

6. Lawful-Source Position and Cooperation

RustWho collects or processes data only from sources that were publicly accessible, reasonably believed to be publicly accessible, or lawfully provided to RustWho at the time of collection.

RustWho does not intentionally bypass authentication requirements, paywalls, private admin panels, or technical access controls in order to obtain data for display through the Service.

If a source owner or affected party claims that a particular record or category of data was not public, was restricted, or was collected in error, RustWho may review the matter in good faith and may annotate, suppress, restrict, or remove access to the challenged material without admitting liability.

6A. Source Independence

RustWho does not control the policies, moderation practices, or data publication decisions of third-party servers, communities, or platforms. Those entities independently determine their moderation actions and public disclosures.

7. Eligibility, Accounts, and Security

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the Service. You are responsible for your account, credentials, device security, browser security, and any activity occurring under your account.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it reasonably current. You may not share credentials, use another person's account without authorization, or attempt to access accounts, tokens, or sessions that do not belong to you.

8. No Reliance for High-Stakes Decisions

You agree not to rely on RustWho as the sole basis for:

  • accusations of cheating or misconduct;
  • legal decisions;
  • disciplinary action;
  • employment decisions;
  • reputation-based claims;
  • contractual action; or
  • any other high-impact or irreversible decision.

RustWho does not determine whether a player cheated, violated rules, or engaged in misconduct.

Where verification from the original or official source is available, you should seek it directly.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • harass, stalk, threaten, extort, dox, or defame others;
  • commit fraud, impersonation, or unlawful surveillance;
  • evade law enforcement, platform rules, or server rules;
  • abuse, overload, disrupt, scrape, mirror, or reverse engineer the Service;
  • circumvent authentication, rate limits, or feature restrictions;
  • redistribute subscriber-only outputs, bulk exports, or restricted analytics without permission;
  • misuse credentials, tokens, or access belonging to another person; or
  • use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

10. Paid Features and Billing

RustWho may offer paid subscriptions, add-ons, credits, or optional suppression or visibility features. Fees, billing cycles, feature access, and any refund terms will be shown at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once access has been provided. RustWho may change pricing, packaging, feature availability, or eligibility at any time on a prospective basis.

Failure to pay may result in suspension, downgrade, or termination of access without waiving any amounts due.

11. User Submissions and Reports

If you submit reports, notes, communications, or other content to RustWho, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your submission is not unlawful, defamatory, or knowingly false.

You grant RustWho a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, analyze, moderate, and use those submissions for service operation, review, security, dispute handling, and product improvement.

12. Visibility Controls, Suppression, and Disputes

RustWho may offer optional suppression, visibility limitation, opt-out, annotation, or dispute-handling tools. These tools apply only within RustWho unless expressly stated otherwise and do not remove data from external sources, search engines, or third-party archives.

RustWho may leave historical records visible, add context, suppress search visibility, or deny removal requests where it reasonably believes continued display is lawful and proportionate.

RustWho may decline removal requests where the record reflects a historically accurate event that was publicly available at the time of collection.

13. Intellectual Property and License

RustWho retains all rights in the Service, including its software, interface, branding, layout, analytics logic, compilations, selections, scoring methods, and original content.

Subject to these Terms, RustWho grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for lawful internal or personal use.

RustWho does not claim ownership of third-party properties except to the extent of lawful indexing, arrangement, transformation, commentary, analysis, or other rights that may arise in connection with the Service.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with or reference third-party websites, APIs, servers, platforms, browser environments, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, or community systems. RustWho is not responsible for third-party services, content, uptime, terms, or conduct.

15. Suspension and Termination

RustWho may suspend, limit, or terminate access at any time if it reasonably believes:

  • you violated these Terms;
  • your use creates legal, technical, reputational, or security risk;
  • you are abusing the Service;
  • payment is overdue; or
  • suspension is necessary to protect users, the Service, or third parties.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, evidence preservation, and dispute provisions, will survive.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

RustWho disclaims all warranties, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, non-infringement, title, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RustWho shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, exemplary, or reputational damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, lost opportunities, or business interruption arising out of or related to the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RustWho's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount paid by you to RustWho in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • SAR 100.

18. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RustWho, its operators, contractors, service providers, licensors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and costs arising out of or related to:

  • your use or misuse of the Service;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your unlawful or abusive use of data obtained through the Service; or
  • your violation of third-party rights or applicable law.

19. Preservation of Rights and Evidence

RustWho may retain logs, internal notes, source snapshots, screenshots, URLs, timestamps, support communications, user-submitted materials, and related records where reasonably necessary for security, dispute review, legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or evidence preservation.

20. Equitable Relief

You acknowledge that unauthorized scraping, redistribution, credential misuse, circumvention, or other abuse of the Service may cause harm that is difficult to quantify. To the extent permitted by applicable law, RustWho may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in addition to any other available remedies.

21. Governing Law and Forum

These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, subject to any non-waivable rights that may apply under applicable law. Unless a non-waivable rule requires otherwise, disputes arising out of or relating to the Service shall be brought before the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

22. Changes to Terms

RustWho may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

23. General Contract Terms

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. RustWho's failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without RustWho's prior written consent, while RustWho may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, acquisition, asset transfer, or change of control.

These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights unless expressly stated otherwise.
